In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for various IT systems, including Windows desktops and servers, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, O365, Amazon, VoIP servers, and Linux. Key Qualifications and Skills:
- No criminal record;
- Own transport and valid SA driver’s license;
- Meticulous and high attention to detail;
- Able to work in a team, under supervision, as well as alone;
- Neat and well presented – formal/semi-formal dress code;
- Willing to work overtime when required;
- Minimum of 8 years of support engineer experience in a managed services environment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows desktops and servers, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, O365, Amazon, VoIP servers, and Linux.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent are required.
- Additional certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux are advantageous.
- Proven experience in effectively working with a team to deliver high-quality support services.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
